A private session is a great way to introduce yourself to Pilates. Pilates is focused on posture and alignment and often it may only be a small movement between doing an exercise correctly or incorrectly and risking injury.
At Bourne Pilates we offer private sessions to supplement group sessions or fitness training. Private sessions are a proven way to improve your Pilates techniques and increase confidence and knowledge during these intimate sessions.
If you are new to Pilates and would like to build some knowledge before taking a class, private sessions are a great way to introduce yourself to Pilates and the STOTT method and equipment, while easing into your Pilates journey away from group classes.
At Bourne Pilates, we recommend booking at least two private sessions to all of our beginning clients before joining our group sessions.
Private Sessions are great if you have Pilates experience, but would like to take your training to the next level, improve your technique, or check in with your instructor to meet specific goals. Private sessions are a proven path to improving your Pilates technique while increasing confidence and knowledge in a personalized 1-on-1 environment.
For students who are recovering from an injury and have been advised to do Pilates, private sessions give you personalized attention from an instructor who is trained to safely and effectively work with your specific injury.
Private or semi- private (2 participants) sessions can be booked at your convenience. We provide either 30 minute or 1 hour sessions.
